Adding Capabilities to the Agent (Actions)
Adding Capabilities to an Agent (Actions)
Actions allow an agent to do more than just chat by giving it access to different tools and operations. Capabilities such as searching the web, generating images, analyzing files, or running a workflow can be added to an agent from this section.
4.1 Adding an Action
To add a new action, click + Add Action in the Actions section.
The Select Action screen includes the following sections:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| All Actions | Displays all actions that can be added |
| Capabilities | Ready-to-use tools that can be added to the agent |
| Sub-Agents | Published workflows |
You can also use the search field at the top to find a specific action directly.
4.2 Capabilities
The Capabilities section contains ready-to-use tools that can be added to the agent. Depending on your use case, you can add one or more capabilities.
Available capabilities
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| Analysis Agent | File analysis and output generation |
| Web Search | Information from current internet sources |
| Archive Search | Information and quotations from books and publications |
| Image Generation | Generate new images from text |
| Image Editing | Modify existing images |
| Support | Create support requests |
Analysis Agent
The Analysis Agent allows files in different formats to be examined, data to be analyzed, and various outputs to be generated from the analysis results.
With this capability, users can analyze uploaded files without writing code or formulas and generate summaries, calculations, comparisons, tables, and charts.
The Analysis Agent can also generate files from analysis results in Excel, PDF, HTML, and PowerPoint formats. For example, a sales file can be analyzed and transformed into an Excel report with charts or an executive presentation.
The Analysis Agent is particularly useful for data analysis, document review, and working with large Excel files.
Note: The Analysis Agent is enabled by default for newly created agents. Because data analysis and document generation capabilities are grouped under the Analysis Agent, you do not need to add separate tools for these operations.
Web Search
Web Search allows the agent to retrieve information from current internet sources. This capability provides the agent with results obtained from web searches.
It can be used for scenarios that require access to recent developments or information available on the internet.
Archive Search
Archive Search is used to search for information or quotations from books and publications.
It is particularly useful for agents designed to perform research based on publications and reference materials.
Image Generation
Image Generation allows the agent to create new images based on the user's text-based request.
It can be used by agents that need to generate visuals for content, presentations, or other use cases.
Image Editing
Image Editing allows changes to be made to existing images. It can be used for operations such as style changes, cropping, and background editing.
Support
The Support action allows the agent to create support requests.
It can be used for agents that manage support processes or need to forward user requests to a help desk.
Removing a Capability
Capabilities you add are displayed in the Actions section. If you no longer want to use a capability, click the × icon next to the relevant action to remove it.
4.3 Sub-Agents
The Sub-Agents section allows you to connect published workflows to your agent.
When a workflow is added as a sub-agent, the main agent can run that workflow when needed. For example, if an email-sending workflow is connected as a sub-agent, the agent can use the workflow when the user asks to send prepared content by email.
Only published workflows are displayed in the Sub-Agents section. If no workflows have been published yet, the list appears empty. The workflow you want to use must first be created and published.
