Email Creation and Editing

11. Email Creation and Editing

SkyStudio Chat allows you to create email drafts for different purposes. Generated emails are displayed as dedicated email cards within the conversation. You can refine the draft with AI assistance or manually modify it using the editing panel.

11.1. Creating an Email

To create an email, describe the purpose of the email in natural language in the message input field.

For example:

Create a professional email reminding the team about the meeting at the office on Friday.

If SkyStudio requires additional information to create the email, it may ask follow-up questions within the conversation.

For example:

  • Who should the email be sent to?
  • Are there any specific topics that should be included in the meeting agenda?
  • Is there any additional information you would like to include in the email?

Once the required information is provided, the email draft is generated and displayed within the conversation.

11.2. Email Card

The generated email draft is displayed as a dedicated email card within the conversation.

The email card includes the following fields:

  • Sender: Information about the user who will send the email.
  • Recipient: The email address of the recipient.
  • Subject: The subject line of the email.
  • Content: The generated email content.

If recipient information has not yet been provided, this field may be displayed as No recipient added.

You can use the options at the bottom of the email card to perform different actions on the draft:

  • Open in Browser: Opens the email draft in the browser.
  • Copy: Copies the email content.
  • Edit: Opens the panel where you can manually edit the email draft.
  • More Actions: Provides access to additional available actions through the three-dot menu.

11.3. Revising an Email

You can use the Revise section on the email card to quickly refine the generated email draft with AI assistance.

Available options include:

  • Shorter
  • More Formal
  • More Friendly
  • Stronger CTA

You can also specify changes using natural language in the conversation instead of limiting your revisions to the predefined options.

For example:

  • Make the text shorter.
  • Use a more formal tone.
  • Change the subject line.
  • Rewrite it in English.
  • Make the call to action in the final paragraph stronger.

This allows you to continue refining the existing email draft within the same conversation without creating it again from scratch.

11.4. Manually Editing an Email Draft

When you click Edit on the email card, the Email Draft panel opens on the right side of the screen.

From this panel, you can view the following fields and make changes where applicable:

  • Sender
  • Recipient
  • Subject
  • Content

For example, if the recipient was not specified when the email was created, you can manually enter the email address in the Recipient field. You can also modify the subject and content as needed.

After completing your changes, select Save to save the updated draft.

The following options are also available at the bottom of the panel:

  • Open in Browser
  • Copy
  • Open in Client

Use Open in Client to open the prepared email in a compatible email client on your device.

The overall workflow is: prompt → follow-up questions if required → email card → quick revision → Edit → manual editing in the right-side panel → Save / Open in Browser / Copy / Open in Client.
