Working with Chat Responses and Getting Better Results

12. Working with Chat Responses and Getting Better Results

SkyStudio Chat allows you to continue working with generated responses without starting a new conversation. You can refine responses with additional instructions and use the available response actions to copy, regenerate, or provide feedback on the result.

Providing clear instructions and refining the response step by step can help you achieve results that better match your requirements.

12.1. Refining a Response

If the generated response does not fully meet your needs, you can provide additional instructions within the same conversation.

For example:

  • Make the response shorter.
  • Explain this in simpler terms.
  • Add more technical details.
  • Present the results in a table.
  • Rewrite this for an executive audience.
  • Translate the response into English.

You do not need to repeat your entire original request. You can continue the conversation by describing only the changes you want to make.

12.2. Providing More Specific Instructions

The quality of a response can be improved by clearly describing the expected result in your request.

When writing a prompt, you can specify details such as:

  • The task you want to perform
  • The context or information to consider
  • The expected level of detail
  • The preferred tone or writing style
  • The desired output format
  • Any limitations or requirements that should be followed

For example, instead of:

Summarize this report.

you can provide a more specific instruction:

Summarize this report for an executive audience. Highlight the five most important findings and present the key risks and recommendations as bullet points.

12.3. Working with Response Actions

Available actions may be displayed below generated responses.

Depending on the response and the tools being used, these actions can be used to perform operations such as:

  • Copying the response
  • Regenerating the response
  • Providing positive or negative feedback
  • Accessing additional available actions

These options allow you to continue working with the generated result without manually recreating the content.

12.4. Continuing with Follow-Up Questions

You can ask follow-up questions about a generated response within the same conversation.

For example:

Which of these findings is the most important?

or:

Explain the second recommendation in more detail and provide an example.

SkyStudio uses the existing conversation context when processing follow-up requests, allowing you to progressively develop the result without starting over.

12.5. Getting Better Results

For more effective results, keep your requests clear and provide relevant context whenever necessary.

For complex tasks, it can be helpful to divide the work into multiple steps. You can first request an analysis, review the result, and then provide additional instructions for the next step.

For example:

Analyze the uploaded sales data and identify the main trends.

After reviewing the result, you can continue with:

Now compare the three regions with the highest sales and present the differences in a table.

This approach allows you to refine the output progressively and maintain the context of your work throughout the conversation.
