Analysis Agent

7. Analysis Agent

The Analysis Agent is one of the chat tools available in SkyStudio Chat for performing more comprehensive analyses on files and data.

It can be used for tasks such as summarizing data, performing calculations, comparing datasets, creating tables and charts, analyzing trends, or generating output files from analysis results.

7.1. Using the Analysis Agent

To open the Analysis Agent, click the + icon in the message input area and select Analysis Agent from the menu.

Once the Analysis Agent is enabled, you can add the files you want to analyze and describe the task you want to perform using natural language.

For example:

  • Analyze the sales in this Excel file by month.
  • Identify the five best-selling products.
  • Find missing or inconsistent records.
  • Visualize sales trends with charts.
  • Summarize this document.
  • Compare the data in these two files.

The Analysis Agent can generate different types of results, including data summaries, calculations, comparisons, tables, charts, trend analyses, document summaries, reports, and presentation content.

7.2. Refining the Analysis

If the initial analysis does not fully meet your requirements, you do not need to re-upload the files or start a new conversation.

You can refine the results by providing additional instructions within the same analysis.

For example:

  • Use only the data from 2026.
  • Break down the results by region.
  • Add a percentage change column to the table.
  • Add more descriptive titles to the charts.
  • Prepare the results as an executive summary.

As long as you continue working within the same analysis, you do not need to upload the files again.

7.3. Creating Output Files

If you want to receive the analysis results as a file instead of viewing them only within the conversation, you can specify the desired output format in your message.

The Analysis Agent supports the following output types:

  • Excel
  • PDF
  • HTML
  • PowerPoint

In addition to specifying the file format, you can also describe the sections and content you want the output file to include.

For example:

Create the analysis results as an Excel file. Include a summary on the first sheet, detailed data on the second sheet, and charts on the third sheet.
