Deep Research

8. Deep Research

Deep Research can be used for topics that require more comprehensive investigation than retrieving a single piece of up-to-date information.

It is particularly useful for tasks that involve researching multiple topics, products, or companies, evaluating information from different sources, and comparing findings based on specific criteria.

8.1. Using Deep Research

To start Deep Research, click the + icon in the message input area and select Deep Research from the menu.

Then, describe the topic you want to research in detail in the message input field.

For example:

  • Research the use cases of generative AI in enterprise organizations. Compare the benefits, risks, and common use cases.
  • Research the major developments in artificial intelligence in 2026 and summarize them by category.
  • Compare the AI services offered by cloud providers in terms of features and use cases.

8.2. Defining the Research Scope

When using Deep Research, it is recommended to define the scope of your research as clearly as possible.

You can include the following information in your request:

  • Topic to be researched
  • Questions you want answered
  • Products, companies, or topics to be compared
  • Time period to be covered
  • Expected level of detail
  • Preferred format for the results

For example:

Research the enterprise AI services offered by AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. Compare the services in terms of key features, use cases, and advantages, and present the results in a table.
